The Pierhead – A Landmark Development for Bridgetown

The Pierhead is Barbados’ newest mixed-use district, located in the heart of historic Bridgetown, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Designed to be a catalyst for the city’s revitalization. The Pierhead will bring new life to the capital while celebrating its rich cultural heritage and maritime history.

Launched in July 2025, the project will be developed in three phases across five acres of waterfront land, bordered by the sparkling waters of Carlisle Bay. Once complete, it will comprise 178 private residences along with 35 carefully curated food & beverage, retail, and cultural spaces—creating a vibrant new community that blends modern living with authentic Barbadian character.

The first phase will see the construction of The Steel Building, offering the following selection:

1 bedroom/1.5 bathrooms (unfurnished) – USD 580,000; building area – 1005 sq. ft.
2 bedrooms/2.5 bathrooms (unfurnished) – USD 950,000; building area – 1078 sq. ft.
3 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms (furnished) – USD 1,020,000; building area – 1,462 sq. ft.
